Join in on the development Exposing Dr. Atkins' evil plans will need your help September 14th, 2007 I have begun to think about doing Diet Martyr as a Sprite Comic now, possibly in HTML format with some animation or videos. This decision came after many months of no activity or game planning. But it can still be a game someday because the sprite art version can still serve as a story board for a game version, animation series, or even a movie. This decision was influenced by reading more about pixel art and sprite commics. It was also influenced when I seen the show "Code Monkeys" in late August of this year. A friend introduced me to that animated show that uses pixel art. I seen how good that could be and I have thought about going in that direction with Diet Martyr, but I think that I might begin it as a sprite comic to get a sense of organization how to put things together. I have also have been thinking of renaming the project but the malthusian dictatorship will still be completely there. I have also thought about developing a "religion" that Atkins uses to control people with. I basically already have the elements of this in place but I need to do more organization. The "religion" that Atkins will use, will be of the most intense evil that I can think of after studying many activities of secret societies, serial killers, and death cults. The result will be a super macabre system that has it's basis in reality of what sinister people have done for thousands of years, but I just blame it on Dr. Atkins and his associates. -Naugle ------------------------------- I really haven't done much on this project, not much more than you see on this website. I don't do programming. I do art, audio, concept design, and story writing when I get ideas for games. I would like to get some people programming eventually because I couldn't handle the workload even if I was a really good programmer. But if you are interested in working on this and making Diet Martyr possible, then contact me please. *I had to convert the images that were PNG files into GIF files because the only version of Internet Explorer to have full PNG support was Internet Explorer 7. Other browsers have had full PNG support years before Internet Explorer. Because so many people think that they need to use Internet Exploiter, I had to change my images to accomodate those people who use an inferior browser, and converting those images into GIF files reduced their quality. So Internet Explorer users caused me to need to reduce some of my picture quality to accomodate their choice of a web browser.
